The winning work reflects what good journalism is supposed to do: uncover facts, explain complicated issues, tell great stories and serve communities. Whether produced by a large daily newspaper, a small weekly, a digital only publication, or a student newsroom, the best entries shared the same commitment to strong reporting and public service.
