Summit prices go up after Monday
Monday, April 17 is the early bird registration deadline for the CNPA Press Summit, coming up May 18-20 in Santa Monica.
The Summit, themed “Thriving Locally in the Digital Age,” promises insights into business, advertising and journalism; networking with leaders at California’s top newspaper-based media companies and a beach-side stay at a top resort.

Attendees will learn about the millennial workforce, the business and advertising outlook for recreational marijuana, about sponsored-content programs and how to use Facebook to drive traffic and build reader engagement.
There’s also the “hot idea” session featuring publishers who have implemented successful revenue programs and the vendors who helped them. And we’ll share tips on using the Public Records Act in local reporting, plus a lot more.
Pricing for the 2017 Summit is specifically geared for inclusion, with discounts for second and additional registrants from the same newspaper flag. CNPA also is offering rebates to newspaper members who stay multiple nights in the CNPA room block.
