Election night data will be offered in ASCII and JSON API formats. A detailed Election Night Data-Feed User Guide will be provided to all media who sign up, and integration testing will be conducted in the weeks leading up to the election. Please be sure to include the name and contact information for your technical staff when selecting the data-feed option on the request form.

Signing up is only necessary if you wish to receive a data feed in ASCII or JSON API format. If you would like access to live election night results but do not require a data feed, you may simply go to the Secretary of State website after 8 p.m. on election night. State election results are updated as often as county election officials report to the Secretary of State.

Please note, the Secretary of State’s office is no longer offering an FTP or XML option, so if you have questions about your connection capability, please contact the Secretary of State’s Information Technology Division at the phone number below.
