America’s Newspapers, along with its partners at the National Newspaper Association and Coda Ventures, is conducting a research project critical to the industry’s advocacy efforts. The study broadly examines the current state of local newspapers and the outlook for the next few years.

The results of the study will be used in advocacy efforts to help quantify the need for immediate legislative action, as the groups continue to lobby for the Community News and Small Business Support Act in Congress. They ask you to provide the information for your newspaper, or group of newspapers, to the best of your ability.

This is not a deep dive into financials, as they are looking for estimates and directional information. It should only take about 10 minutes to answer at most. The survey is completely confidential and the results are collected and tabulated by Coda Ventures.

As always, time is of the essence. Please take 10 minutes and answer the survey as soon as you can. Additional information about the study is below.
