Bill expands sexual harassment training requirements for most employers
The bill expands the number of employees who are required to attend the training from supervisorial employees to all employees with supervisors required to be trained for two hours and non-supervisorial employees trained for one hour. The training must be provided within six months of the employee being hired and once every two years.
The bill requires that all employers must provide the sexual harassment training by January 1, 2020, but does not need to be provided again if the sexual harassment training was provided after January 1, 2019, to an employee.
Publicly held corporations must include women on boards.
