2021-22 CNPA OFFICER AND DIRECTOR NOMINEES

In accordance with Article VI, Section 4 of the CNPA Bylaws, the following report of the Board Development Committee, headed by Secretary-Treasurer Emily Charrier, is submitted to all Active Members of the association.

Nominees for the 2021-22 officers and directors of the California News Publishers Association, to be voted upon at the association’s annual business meeting Thursday, April 29, 2021 are:

To be Elected to a 3-Year Term: Silas Lyons, Gannett, Northern California
* Lyons is the regional executive editor of eight newsrooms in Northern California and Nevada including, The Record, Stockton; Record Searchlight, Redding; Visalia Times-Delta; Tulare Advance-Register; The Salinas Californian; and others as part of the USA Today Network.
