Entry Title: George Russell: Back to school is fine, but not back to office
    Entry Credit: George Russell
Judge Comment: I loved this cartoon because it's such a great twist on traditional reality between kids and parents! It really reflects how much people's minds have changed since Covid. Working from home is the future! It made me laugh right out loud and I love that from a cartoon!
  • Place Name: Second Place
    Contestant Name: Marin Independent Journal
Entry Title: George Russell: Come get your recycled water
    Entry Credit: George Russell
Judge Comment: The irony is so great! The next cartoon tells us that drought and drastic water usage restrictions are coming soon and this cartoon indicates plenty of "recycled" water to go around by offering hundreds of gallons of water free!
  • Place Name: Third Place
    Contestant Name: Marin Independent Journal
Entry Title: George Russell: Marin water districts are preparing for drought

Judge Comment: This cartoon is subtle and hilarious. Love the caption!

Judge Comment: The artwork is fabulous on this cartoon. Being a part-time Idaho resident, not sure I love the message!
  • Place Name: Fifth Place
    Contestant Name: Marin Independent Journal
Entry Title: George Russell: New place in history for Sir Francis Drake

Judge Comment: I couldn't really judge this one, because no caption was provided and I don't live in Marin County, so don't really understand it very well.
