    Judge Comment: Good quotes and spinoffs. Interesting pull-out facts. This could be boring but isn't. It's inspiring and does a great job explaining technical info and the challenges women face in science.
  • Competition Comment: A great group of entries. Photos, graphics and sidebars are helpful – and challenging – in this category. It's nice when the writer relaxes and has a little fun. Sometimes business stories focus on the numbers more than the people. My winning entries did a good job explaining technical info and making stats interesting and relevant.
