    Judge Comment: Clean, efficient design througout both editions, with good headlines and strong photos.The feature pages on Feb. 19 were particularly strong, with effective design elements, and photoes and headlines that popped (especially in the Mardi Gras feature).

    Judge Comment: Efficient design, solid headlines and great use of graphics and other design elements, especially in the Oakland's Last Gift to the Raiders package. Strong headlines throughout the two days, including the "From S.F. to China's Olympic Megastar"
