Fly-in delegates make fruitful visits
Representatives from 20 CNPA-Member companies joined association staff and advocates for visits with legislators and staff at the Capitol during the CNPA Legislative Fly-in on Wednesday, Feb. 7.
CNPA‘s delegation focused on the key CNPA issues of the current session: The California Journalism Protection Act, independent contractors, open meetings and public notice. Aiding in the effort were Ryan Adam, The Toronto Star; and Neil Quinter, News/Media Alliance.
Fly-in delegates also assembled for lunch and concluded their day with a networking reception for legislators and staff.
