Editors Espino, Chandler promoted in Redding

Espino joined the Record Searchlight in 2012 and had been news editor since 2018. Silas Lyons, who had been executive editor since 2007, now leads Gannett’s Center for Community Journalism and is based in Redding.

Chandler, who joined the reporting team in August 2018, will lead the day-to-day operations at the paper.
