Educators, editors: Funds remain for internship grants

Educators, editors: Funds remain for internship grants

Quill (1)The California Press Foundation reports that funds are still available for three $2,500 internship grants in 2022.

Cal Press provides grants to select students who demonstrate an exceptional interest in pursuing careers in the news business in California. The students must seek and secure the internship on their own at news companies that belong to CNPA.

Internships, which can occur in spring or summer, must be full time and last at least six weeks.

Since 1996, Cal Press has funded 161 internships at California news companies. Where have they interned?

The deadline to apply is Feb. 25. Don’t miss the opportunity. Contact Joe Wirt for application materials today.
