Educators, editors: Last call for intern grants

Quill (1)The application deadline is in 11 days, Nov. 24, 2021, for the California Press Foundation’s Internship Grants program.

The program will provide up to four $2,500 grants to college students who obtain newsroom internships at California news companies in Spring or Summer 2022. Also, Cal Press has earmarked one $2,500 grant for a most-worthy advertising or marketing intern.

Cal Press provides grants to select students who demonstrate an exceptional interest in pursuing careers in the news business in California. The students must seek and secure the internship on their own at news companies that belong to CNPA. Internships, which can occur in spring or summer, must be full time and last at least six weeks. Get application materials (pdf).
