Four apply for CNPA membership

Four apply for CNPA membership

San Diego Voice & Viewpoint has applied for Active membership in CNPA.

Dr. John Warren is publisher of the adjudicated weekly, founded in 1960.

News for Chinese has applied for Active membership in CNPA. Brian Ho is publisher of the San Jose-based twice-monthly, founded in 2008.

India Currents has applied for Digital membership in CNPA.
Vandana Kumar is publisher of the San Jose-based community media platform, founded in print in 1987 and published digitally since 2017.

California Health Report has applied for Digital membership in CNPA.
Hannah Guzik is publisher of the San Francisco-based site, founded in 2009.

Until confirmation by the CNPA Board of Directors, the applicants are provisional members of CNPA and are eligible for all the benefits of membership.

In their applications, the publishers indicated their reasons for joining CNPA include helping to protect the interests of California news media at the State Capitol, entering the California Journalism Awards and utilizing CNPA‘s free Legal Help Line.
