Gather entries: New categories in California Journalism Awards

Deadline for entries is 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2023. A late deadline of 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023, will be offered but entry fees will be doubled after Feb. 7.

New or revised categories in the Print division this year are Environmental Coverage, Health Coverage, Coverage of Business and the Economy, and Coverage of 2022 Election.

In Digital this year, new or revised categories are Environmental Coverage, Health Coverage, Coverage of Business and the Economy, Coverage of 2022 Election, and Newsletters and Podcasts.

New categories in the Campus division are Coverage of Student Government and Campus Administration as well as Video Journalism and Podcasts.
