We take one last chance here, top of the fold, to remind you to look over your team’s 2021 work and submit it for the California Journalism Awards.

The entry deadline is Feb. 21.

If your coordinator needs the entry materials, hand over your mailed packet or point that hero to our contest page. See who won last year. Look over this year’s categories. And remember that your journalism honors are good for community relations.

The contest is judged by peers, so entering is a way to see the good work as it is judged. The number of judges you will provide is based on size of the publication.

And finally, just entering might be a huge show of appreciation to your staff and your contributors. If you have not entered recently, don’t overlook this opportunity.
