Gregg Knowles, a CNPA Associate Member, licensed newspaper broker and publisher of the two-edition Smart Shopper papers in Carroll and Denison, Iowa, reports that his papers received First Place General Excellence in the recent 9-State Midwest Free Community Papers 2018 Competition hosted by Midwest Free Community Papers.
The award recognizes quality of content, quality of printing and reproduction, appearance and mix of advertising.
“We are proud and humbled by this recognition of our work,” Knowles said.
