In Memoriam: Chip Thompson, 57

Thompson had been editor in Red Bluff since 2008.

“Chip was truly a newspaperman’s newspaperman. He made a very difficult job look much easier than it is,” said colleague Mike Wolcott, editor at the Chico Enterprise-Record. “He had a great sense of news and community and was always a joy to work with.”
