In Memoriam: Ethyl Nakutin, 80

Nakutin was publisher from 2001 to 2004 and had been with The Signal since 1988 as advertising manager.

Steve Nakutin, her son, recalls working alongside his mother from 1993 to 2004: “We had a handshake agreement that if the mother-son relationship was looking like it was getting damaged because of working together, then one of us would go and we would never put that at risk. But we had a lot of fun working together.”
