Services were held May 1 for Harry Augustine “Hud” Englehart III, managing partner of Beacon Advisors, a CNPA Allied Member, who died April 28, 2023, in Chicago after a short battle with cancer. He was 76.
Englehart had been a key coordinator of CNPA’s external relations and advocacy work since 2020, a role he embraced following a long career in corporate communications.
“Hud was an indelible force in all situations, from crisis to celebration, and I have been blessed to call him a trusted advisor and friend for more than 40 years,” said Charles Ford Champion II, CNPA president and CEO.
Englehart, who had represented many brands and organizations, called his work with CNPA’s staff and directors an invigorating highlight of his career, Champion said.
