In Memoriam: Jerry Ceppos, 75

Ceppos later served as VP/News for the old Knight Ridder organization and later served as journalism dean at the University of Nevada/Reno and at Louisiana State University.

“Jerry was one of the most thoughtful and considerate people I knew,” said Tony Ridder, onetime CEO of Knight Ridder. “He always managed to be upbeat and positive when things were difficult.”
