Lee Bollinger, who spent most of his 50-year career as an executive at The Press Democrat in Santa Rosa, died Oct. 8, 2021, the newspaper reported. He was 96.
During Bollinger’s time as the head of classified, the newspaper set national records for ad sales. When he retired in 1992, Bollinger had worked for the newspaper longer than anyone else.
Three generations of his family had roles at The Press Democrat.
