Veteran Editor Rick Green, pictured, assured a national audience of journalism students last week that their work is essential.
“You are in the golden age of storytelling,” Green, executive editor of The Press Democrat in Santa Rosa, told the students at the Associated Collegiate Press National College Media Conference in Long Beach. “We are changing. We are not the same industry we were 37 minutes ago, but content comes first. Everything starts with great content.”
