Jud Snyder, 92

Jud Snyder, 92

Judson Snyder, former editor of the Community Voice in Rohnert Park, Sonoma County, died March 3, 2018, in Santa Rosa, The Press Democrat reports. He was 92.

Snyder continued to write a local column, “Coffeegrounds,” until the final week of his life.

Irene Hilsendager, an editor and writer for the Community Voice, said the paper plans to publish his final, posthumous column this week along with the obituary he wrote and left on his computer desk.

“He was rough around the edges,” Hilsendager said. “I always called him an old curmudgeon. The one thing I can honestly say is Rohnert Park’s politics will never be the same.”
