“I am extremely pleased that Kat will be running Bay City News,” said Wayne Futak, former BCN owner and manager. “She is an excellent journalist who has terrific news judgment. She also has a business background and broad knowledge of new media platforms.”

Futak will remain as a consultant on sales, editorial and technical matters.
