Reed Print Inc. announced that it will close at the end of December, The Bakersfield Californian reports, putting the status of these Kern County weeklies in doubt: Arvin Tiller, Lamont Reporter, Shafter Press, Wasco Tribune and Delano Record.
“We are closing our doors,” Arvin and Lamont reporter Toni DeRosa told The Californian. “The 20th is the last issue for Lamont and Arvin, and Wasco, Shafter and Delano close the 27th.”
