Keynote panel to feature insights from legislative advocates

The keynote panel discussion on Wednesday at CNPA’s Governmental Affairs Day will be “Perspectives of Seasoned Lobbyists.”

Christina Bellantoni, assistant managing editor for politics at the Los Angeles Times, will moderate the discussion among panelists Michael Belote, California Advocates; Jennifer Fearing, Fearless Advocacy Inc.; Adam Keigwin, Mercury Public Affairs; and Paula Treat, lobbyist/consultant.

They will share what makes an effective lobbyist, how the media affects their work and several other related topics.

The day’s events, sponsored by the Los Angeles Times, California Black Media and First Amendment Coalition, start at 10 a.m. and end at 7:30 p.m. Registration is closed.
