Laguna Beach Independent is CNPA applicant

Laguna Beach Independent has applied for Active membership in CNPA.

Steve Zepezauer is publisher of the Friday broadsheet, which circulates 12,670 copies.

The applicant bills itself as “the local’s newspaper for Laguna Beach, California. We feature local news, politics, the arts and festivals, news features, local sports, and events.”

It was founded in 2003 and acquired by Firebrand Media in 2009.

Until confirmation by the CNPA Board of Directors, the applicant is a provisional member of CNPA and eligible for all the benefits of Active membership.
