The Larchmont Chronicle, a monthly tabloid serving Hancock Park and several other historic neighborhoods in Los Angeles, has applied for CNPA membership.
Founded in 1963, The Chronicle circulates some 22,000 copies. John H. Welborne has been its publisher since 2015.
“Our goal is to steward and perpetuate the Chronicle, not to change it,” Welborne said at the time. “We want to continue to expand and improve the paper, both in its news coverage and in its reach for its advertisers.”
Until confirmation by the CNPA Board of Directors on Jan. 27, the Larchmont Chronicle is a provisional member of CNPA and is eligible for all the benefits of an Active member.
