The CNPA legislative affairs team will share and trade strategies with other states’ governmental-affairs advocates during the annual NAM Legislative Conference Dec. 3-5 in Washington, D.C.
Among those attending are executive directors, legislative affairs directors and staffs, and lawyers and lobbyists for newspaper associations.
Tom Newton with Nikki Moore and Jim Ewert. Newspaper Association Managers Inc. hosts the conference each winter in Washington. Tom Newton, CNPA’s executive director, is currently president of NAM. Joining him at the conference will be CNPA General Counsel Jim Ewert and CNPA Legal Counsel Nikki Moore.
NAM is a professional organization that includes the executives of state, regional, national and international newspaper associations headquartered in the United States and Canada.
