Tickets are SOLD OUT for the California Journalism Awards Gala, set for Saturday evening, May 4 at The Westin Long Beach.

The black tie-optional event is designed to recognize and celebrate CNPA members’ best published work from 2018.

Thanks to CNPA’s generous event sponsors, early bird ticket prices were dramatically reduced in order to allow all members an opportunity to participate in the California Journalism Awards Show and Gala. Due to popular demand, the event sold out before early bird rates expired.

Tickets include no-host reception, dinner, dancing, silent auction, live entertainment and awards show. If you’re still interested in attending, please add your name to our waitlist.

Individual tickets are now $95; we will release tickets in order to the waitlist as new seats become available. No tickets will be sold after Wednesday, April 24.

A reminder: The Long Beach gala marks a schedule change in CNPA’s annual events. CNPA’s annual awards previously were presented on the final afternoon of the CNPA Press Summit.

Starting this year, the annual industry meeting was combined with the annual Legislative Forum to create the CNPA Capital Conference, which occurred in February in Sacramento. Here’s a recap.
