Hayley and Nic Mattson, of 13Stars Media, have published the Paso Robles Press and The Atascadero News since 2019. Their company acquired The Malibu Times in November 2021 and Santa Ynez Valley Star in February 2022.
Bonnie Rodriguez is president and CEO of Valley Oak Press, which acquired Herburger Publications Inc. in December 2021. It publishes the Elk Grove Citizen, The Galt Herald, The River Valley Times (Rancho Murieta) and Valley Community Newspapers in Sacramento.
Melissa Sanderson is president and publisher of The North Coast Journal Inc. Her company acquired The North Coast Journal in March 2021 and The Ferndale Enterprise in October 2021.
Laura Rearwin Ward is publisher and an owner of the Ojai Valley News and editor of Ojai Magazine. Ojai Media LLC acquired the Ojai Valley News in October 2021.
