Nonprofit Plumas Sun digital site launches

News

The new Plumas Sun, a nonprofit community news site organized by area residents, began Aug. 1 with the aim to provide news coverage in Plumas County, LassenNews reports. The Almanor Foundation is its fiscal sponsor.

The move follows the closure of the online Plumas News in July and the elimination of print newspapers by Feather Publishing in 2020.
