Preservation Act input sought

The News Media Alliance requests that CNPA Members contact California Sens. Alex Padilla and Dianne Feinstein regarding the Journalism Competition & Preservation Act, the bipartisan bill that aims to ensure news publishers receive fair compensation from Google and Facebook for use of their original content.

“Please contact your local member to let them know how important the JCPA is for local news and your organization, and ask them to support this legislation ahead of the upcoming markup the first week of September,” the NMA request said.
