The black tie-optional event is designed to recognize and celebrate CNPA members’ best published work from 2018.

Thanks to CNPA’s generous event sponsors, early bird ticket prices have been dramatically reduced in order to allow all members an opportunity to participate in the California Journalism Awards Show and Gala.

Tickets are $50 per person until April 3 and include no-host reception, dinner, dancing, silent auction, live entertainment and awards show.

Awardees who purchase tickets by April 3 will receive their certificate and/or plaque onsite. Table sponsorships are available.

After April 3, individual tickets will be $95. No tickets will be sold after April 24.

Congratulations to the finalists. We look forward to seeing many of you at the California Journalism Awards Gala on Saturday, May 4 at the Westin Long Beach.

A reminder: The Long Beach gala marks a schedule change in CNPA’s annual events. CNPA’s annual awards previously were presented on the final afternoon of the CNPA Press Summit.

Starting this year, the annual industry meeting was combined with the annual Legislative Forum to create the CNPA Capital Conference, which occurred in February in Sacramento. Here’s a recap.
