Silva to editor in Red Bluff

Silva has been managing editor of the Paradise Post since 2003. He began his career as sports editor at The Post in 1994.

“He is fair in his reporting and truly dedicated to the communities he covers,” Daily News Publisher Mazi Kavoosi said of Silva. “In the aftermath of the devastating Camp Fire, we could not have had a better person on the ground keeping the community informed. He will bring the same level of dedication to the Daily News and the Red Bluff community as a whole.”

Chip Thompson, Red Bluff editor since 2008, died Nov. 26 at age 57.
