Simon Birch to depart CNPA Services staff

Simon Birch, director of Membership and Contests at CNPA Services Inc., will retire on May 1.

Birch joined the staff in June 2016 after a news career that included online manager at the Lodi News-Sentinel.

At CNPA, he oversaw technical and facilities operations and administered all contests.

“Simon was key to the office’s continuity and integrity from Day One,” said Joe Wirt, CNPA’s director of Affiliate Relations. “Many of his duties were invisible, yet the impacts were ever-present. His effort made the work of others less complicated and allowed the membership to maximize CNPA benefits.”

Members can send their wishes to Birch at 916-288-6010 through May 1. A proper staff sendoff will follow when conditions allow.
