Pace News has applied for Active membership in CNPA. Dr. Gloria Zuurveen is founder, CEO and publisher of the Los Angeles-based Friday weekly, founded in 1995.

Coachella Valley Independent has applied for Active membership in CNPA.

Jimmy Boegle is publisher of the Cathedral City-based monthly, which he founded in 2012.

Nguoi Viet News has applied for Active membership in CNPA.

Vinh Hoang is publisher of the Westminster-based daily, founded in 1978.

News for Chinese has applied for Active membership in CNPA.

Brian Ho is publisher of the San Jose-based twice-monthly, founded in 2008.

Knowherenews.com has applied for Digital News membership in CNPA.

Nathaniel Barling is publisher of the San Francisco-based news outlet, founded in 2017.

Milpitas Beat has applied for Digital News membership in CNPA.

Rhoda Shapiro is publisher of the news outlet, founded in 2018.

Until confirmation by the CNPA Board of Directors, the applicants are provisional members of CNPA and are eligible for all the benefits of membership.

In their applications, the publishers indicated their reasons for joining CNPA include helping to protect the interests of California news media at the State Capitol, entering the California Journalism Awards and utilizing CNPA’s free Legal Help Line.
