Six days to CNPA contest deadline

With the deadline fast approaching, it’s time to gather your best work from 2019 for the California Journalism Awards.

Deadline for entries is 9 p.m. next Monday, Jan. 20.

Entry packages for the Print, Digital and Campus contests were mailed to CNPA members in November.

If you didn’t receive a package, they are available online:

And don’t forget to sign up your judges.

The judging requirements are described in the entry packages and at the top of the sign-up form. Judges do not have to be employees of your publication or school, but they must be experienced journalists.

If you have questions about the contest or need help logging in, please contact contest administrator Simon Birch, 916-288-6010.

The California Journalism Awards uses the BetterBNC contest system from CNPA Allied Member SmallTownPapers, Inc., which also provides excellent technical support if you run into problems.
