Summit session covers successful business evolution

CNPA members on Day One of the 2017 CNPA Summit can learn from a university specialist in the future of journalism.

The Thursday afternoon session with Gabriel Kahnis titled “Surviving & Thriving: How Successful Companies Are Evolving Their Business Model.”

Kahn is director of the Future of Journalism program at Annenberg Innovation Lab, USC School of Journalism. He has worked as a newspaper correspondent and editor for two decades, including 10 years at The Wall Street Journal, where he served as Los Angeles bureau chief, deputy Hong Kong bureau chief and deputy Southern Europe bureau chief, based in Rome. He has reported from more than a dozen countries on three continents.

Kahn’s presentation follows Thursday sessions on the Millennial workforce, a segment on sponsored content and a keynote speech from Chris Hendricks, McClatchy’s vice president for Innovation.
