TBC Media, which publishes The Bakersfield Californian, will vacate its historical downtown building and consolidate all operations at its Harrell-Fritts Publishing Center north of Bakersfield by the end of the year, said Michelle Chantry, the company’s CEO, president and CFO.
The company intends to lease out the entirety of the 1920s-era downtown building, the newspaper’s article said.
