This is Sunshine Week…

This is Sunshine Week…

Sunshine Week 2020 continues through Saturday.

A USA Today op-ed by Ken Paulsen, titled “More government secrets just when we need transparency to detect fake news,” is available for republication by CNPA Members. (Click to download)

This annual nationwide celebration of access to public information and what it means is made possible by support from John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and The Gridiron Club and Foundation.

The American Society of News Editors launched Sunshine Week in 2005 as a national initiative. Since 2012, ASNE has partnered with the Reporters Committee for Freedom of the Press to provide support for news organizations, libraries, universities, civic groups, nonprofits and others who want to promote open government and access to information.
