Warren Watson, 67

Warren Watson, a lifelong editor, author and association executive, died May 27, 2018, in Augusta, Maine, the Portland (Maine) Press-Herald reported. He was 67 and had pneumonia and complications related to diabetes.

Watson followed a long editorial career with stints as vice president of the American Press Institute; director of J-Ideas, a nonprofit focused on developing and encouraging excellence in high school journalism; and executive director of the nonprofit Society of American Business Editors and Writers (SABEW).
