Recently, CNPA shared with adjudicated non-members, via direct mail, an informational letter and invitation to learn more about CaPublicNotice.com and the reasons for including their newspapers’ notices on this statewide site.

We are inviting non-members, as well as current CNPA Members, to learn more about California public notice and the need to support and protect this civic process and newspapers’ revenue.

Our webinar at noon this Thursday, Sept. 29, supported by Column, our technology partner, will cover the continuing efforts to protect public notice in California newspapers, an overview of the issue nationally, and it will provide insight from a newspaper publisher whose notices are printed in the newspaper and republished online and at CaPublicNotice.com. There will be time for questions and answers.

Along with our Column colleagues, the webinar will include Chuck Champion, CNPA‘s president and CEO; Julia Stidham, publisher of The Union newspaper in Grass Valley; and Richard Karpel, executive director of the Public Notice Resource Center.

The webinar is free and will begin at noon on Thursday, Sept. 29. Please click to register

Questions? Please contact Joe Wirt at CNPA. We hope to see you on Thursday.
