Zahiralis to publisher at Silicon Valley Business Journal

Tom Zahiralis will begin June 20 as president and publisher of American City Business Journals’ Silicon Valley Business Journal, SVBJ reports. Zahiralis most recently had been vice president and chief revenue officer for Palo Alto-based Embarcadero Media, whose publications include Palo Alto Weekly, The Almanac and Pleasanton Weekly.

Mary Huss, SVBJ publisher since 1991, will continue as publisher and president of San Francisco Business Times and will oversee the Greater Bay Area business journals.

“With his experience, passion for local and entrepreneurial spirit, he is just the right person to lead our team to its next era of growth and community impact,” Huss said of Zahiralis.
